God provided many glimpses of who the Messiah would be to His people. Four important ones include prophet, king, priest and lamb. Not only do each of these teach us something of the Messiah’s role, but they also remind us of our proper response to Him.
Contrary to the ways of this world is how we live our lives to the glory of God. This lesson strives to show how God is best magnified when we see Him work through the "impossible".
In the first century, a Roman contemporary of Jesus, Seneca, predicted that Rome would fall and that the cause would be the breakdown of the family. Since then, every major western civilization that has collapsed has collapsed for the same reason. As we conclude our series on GEFC's Core Values, we are looking at our commitment to the family, including our commitment to the sanctity of marriage and the sanctity of every age group including the unborn.
There is only one real solution to the storms of life: Jesus. If you face great storms and long from a great calm; if you are afraid and have little faith then cry out to Jesus. Three lessons: Jesus is on the boat with you; He cares; and cry out to Him when afraid.
This is a study of biblical principles of faith. It is part of the Crossroads programme, written by Dr Kevin Smith and offered by the South African Theological Seminary.
The ultimate freedom comes when a person is intimate with Christ and God's care. God wanted to be in intimate relationship with people. The barriers for intimacy and advises to become more intimate to God are dealt in this presentation. Be Blessed!

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
