3. The where :Ladakh
Ladakh means Land of High Passes.
A cold desert, situated in the Himalayan and Karakoram ranges. The Himalayas
create a rain shadow, denying entry to monsoon clouds, thus making this high
altitude desert a best season to visit in July and August.
It is sometimes called "Little Tibet" because of strong influence by Tibetan culture
• Been attracting explorers around globe with its pristine beauty
• Landscapes all along attracting shutter bugs

• Not just money and time, but Brave-hearts needed to reach pinnacle of
motor-able road
4. The What ! Expedition
Biking Distance: 1800 km
Grade: Strenuous (Mentally and Physically as well)
Time: 14 days; August 21st to Sep 4th
Attractions:
• Khardung La ( one of the world's Highest Motorable Roads) @ 17,582 ft
• Moorey Plains: features some stunning sand and rock natural formations.
• Pangong Tso : is an endorheic saline lake at a height of about 14,270 ft. It’s
the world's longest lake at 134 km
• Rohtang La : Has a well-deserved reputation for being dangerous because of
unpredictable snowstorms and blizzards
• Gata Loops : climb over an elevation of 464m over a distance of 7km zig-zag
across 21 hairpin loops.
• Tanglang La – possibly the 2nd highest motorable road in the world

Aug 22: Manali – Check and Accustom with the bikes
Aug 23: Manali – Rohtang La – Barlach La – Sarchu 230 kms
Aug 24: Sarchu – Tanglang La – Rumtse – Leh 250 Kms
Aug 25: Around Leh
Aug 26: Leh – Khardung La (40)– Diskit (85) – Hunder(8) 133 Kms
Aug 27: Hunder – Sumur – Diskit – Leh 150 Kms
Aug 28: Leh – Thiksey(17kms) – Pangong Tso 160 Kms
Aug 29: Pangong Tso – Sakthi(105) – Leh(55) 160 Kms
Aug 30: Leh – Pong(165) – Sarchu( 85 ) 250 Kms
Aug 31: Sarchu – Keylong(110) – Sissu (35) 145 Kms
Sep 01: Sissu – Rohtang La (35) – Manali (50) 85 Kms
Sep 02: Board Bus to Delhi
Sep 03: Reach Delhi by morning. Disperse in the evening
