This document discusses various topics related to the Internet of Things (IoT) and how it can be applied to smart cities. It first defines IoT as a collection of devices and sensors that communicate together to share data and create larger solutions. It then defines a smart city as an urban area that creates sustainable development and high quality of life through areas like economic and mobility. It proceeds to discuss how IoT works by collecting, communicating, analyzing, and acting on data. It provides examples of how IoT can be used for smart energy management, transportation, structural engineering, nID-based sensing, biochips, and Fitbit activity tracking statistics.

Option pricing under quantum theory of securities price formation - with copy...Jack Sarkissian
This document proposes a quantum theory framework for pricing European-style options. It summarizes recent work showing that securities prices behave as quantum quantities governed by quantum equations. Under this framework, the probability distribution of returns is erratic rather than smooth, exhibiting "speckle patterns" and fat tails. Pricing options by taking the average payout over all probability distributions reproduces key features of observed volatility surfaces, like the smile pattern. The framework also allows defining bid and ask prices using percentiles of the probability distribution to incorporate different trader risk preferences.
This document analyzes the potential fiscal impact of proposed formula retail ordinances for the City of Malibu, including a city ordinance and the "Reiner Initiative" ballot measure. It separates the analysis into the impact on existing retail centers and new development. For existing retail centers, it projects changes in tenancy and sales tax revenue under the ordinances. For new development, it estimates potential increases in property values and tax revenues from projected new retail construction restricted by the initiatives. The analysis provides maximum estimates of fiscal impacts to illustrate the restrictions' possible effects.
Marketing planning for on the activitiesgaurav jain
The document provides an outline for the contents of a comprehensive marketing plan, including sections on marketing goals and objectives, market analysis, SWOT analysis, marketing focus, promotion, price, and financial information. The purpose is to clearly show the steps that will be undertaken to achieve business objectives over the 1-5 year period covered by the plan. Key elements include sales, profit, pricing, and product objectives; environmental and consumer analysis; identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; and describing the product or service, location, promotion strategies, and pricing approach. Financial projections should show expected sales and market share with and without the proposed marketing strategies.

This document contains testimonials from several satisfied customers of Creative Colors of Brandywine Valley, praising the company's leather dyeing and restoration services. The customers note that the company was able to perfectly match leather dyes, make worn leather look new again, and hide discoloration, beyond their expectations. One customer said the restored leather chair looked like new.

Discussion materials for Internet of Things and Smart Cities - Vespucci 2016 ...SensorUp
This is a presentation file prepared for the Vespucci Summer Institute 2016 Week 2. It serves as the introductory material for discussions. It covers the introduction of the Internet of Things, smart cities, what do we mean by "smart" cities, and finally touched on the topic of startups for the IoT field.
This document discusses distribution channels in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry in India. It begins with defining FMCG as short shelf-life, low margin, and high volume consumer packaged goods like cold drinks, soap, and processed food. It then notes that the Indian FMCG market is expected to reach $12.5 billion by 2015 and $20.6 billion by 2020, driven by urban consumers and food, personal care, and fabric care products. The document goes on to define distribution channels as the path products flow through, and explains that FMCG companies rely on strong distribution to cover large markets of daily necessities with perishable items requiring high sales volumes for profitability. It identifies three main distribution channels -
