This document announces the new Zero Refined Sugar range from LA VIEJA FÁBRICA jam. The new jam is aimed at consumers wanting to eliminate or reduce refined sugar consumption. It has replaced refined sugar with a 100% natural sweetener made from concentrated apple and carob obtained through a physical process, containing no artificial sweeteners or chemicals. The natural extraction process provides a more balanced carbohydrate chain with a low glycemic index. The new range will be available from February 25th and includes strawberry, peach, Seville orange, raspberry, blueberry and mixed berry flavors.

New range Zero Refined Sugar of LA VIEJA FÁBRICA.
Zero Refined Sugar of LA VIEJA FÁBRICA (LVF ZRS), is the alternative jam that
offers LA VIEJA FÁBRICA to the growing demand of consumers of products without
refined sugar.
This jam is aimed at those consumers who want to eliminate or reduce the
consumption of sucrose (common sugar) or added refined sugar, and also seek to
ensure that the sweetener which replaces the sugar is 100% natural.
LVF ZRS has not only eliminated the refined sugar, but has replaced it for a
100% natural sweetener, based in a concentrated of apple and carob, which is
obtained by a physical compression process. Therefore, unlike the majority of
products, there aren’t chemical processes involved artificial sweetener are used.
Due to the natural extraction process, a more balanced chain of carbohydrates
is obtained with a low glycaemic index that goes directly to the bloodstream, helping
the liver work.
