Kyrgyzstan has a unique nature, with over 90% of its territory situated over 1500 meters above sea level and containing two of the world's seven peaks over 7000 meters. Kyrgyzstan has a long history dating back to 201 BC and is inhabited by the Turkic Kyrgyz people. It is located in Central Asia, bordered by Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China, and has a population of around 5 million with Bishkek as its capital city.
