We are a family operation who source high quality Asian teas and teaware from Japan, China and Taiwan .We
have run a number of successful market stalls at West Norwood Feast to test our teas in both cold brews and
hot brews and to sell our hand crafted tea wares and have received an excellent and very positive response. We
aim to eventually have our own permanent site which will be Asian Deli based selling Teas and small Asian food
items ( e.g . Chinese Steamed Buns, Sushi Maki , Tea based desserts) to consume on site and to take away on the
Deli side aswell as house packed teas and Teaware for home consumption on the retail side.
We are pursuing our business full time with a combination of over 15 years experience with Asian food and
Asian teas and now ,having spent many years in Japan, we both feel that, with the slowly growing expanding
market interest in Green and Asian teas we are poised to start selling at the right time .We are sourcing as much
as possible direct from Asia , especially Japan ,where we have developed relationships with a number of tea and
teaware artisans.
Our plan is to to run a split retail / café to sell and introduce carefully sourced Japanese & other Asian whole
leaf teas and artisan teaware. The idea is to sell our packaged teas as a retail product alongside the ‘ tea shop’
selling the very same teas so that the customer can try before buying if they so wish . We will match some the
teas with our tapas style food items as suggestions and plan to give customers a more informed and certainly
more delicious quick snack & lunch / drink alternative. Food offerings will include original sushi maki rolls,
matcha based biscuits, etc. aswell as tea and Japanese / Asian tapas food sets for breakfast and lunch.
. We are also big on highlighting the various health benefits of various teas and supplying customers with as
much information as possible so they know exactly what they are drinking, where it comes from and what it
does for them. We believe in what we sell and do not believe in cutting corners
