- Good music is not just something you can hear and stop listening to; it becomes part of you in that moment. A career focused in music gives me the best of both worlds; a business background and also I get to pursue my passion for music.
- My Name is Kylie Higginbotham. I am a Music Business Major at Full Sail University.
- I am incredibly passionate about music and live performances. I appreciate all genres of music and try to attend every live show that I possibly can.
- Music has always been on the forefront of my mind. I am always listening to music, and can no longer go a full day without it. My idea of having a great day is finding a new musician or band that has incredible talent and a passion for what they do.
- After high school I attended Florida Atlantic University for two years where I received my Associates in Arts.
- I was studying marketing in classes with over 300 students, I felt like I wasn’t learning as much as I could. So I left to attend Full Sail University.
- While at FAU I enjoyed studying marketing but didn’t know what I wanted to do with it. When I discovered Full Sail and researched the Music Business Program I knew it was exactly what I needed at that time in my life. Since I have started Full Sail I have met the most dedicated and passionate people here. Being around pure creativity and talent inspires me everyday to become the most successful student I can be while I am at Full Sail.
- I have always loved the idea of working closely with a talented artist or band to share their music with the world. I enjoy the concept of a business idea, marketing, promoting, and managing a group of people. Every aspect of a managers career is exactly what I want in the future.
- I hope to graduate with above a 3.5 GPA, to Network enough so that I will hopefully get the chance to work with some other students from full sail after graduation, and my ultimate long-term goal is to get a job as an artists manager and open up a management firm in Los Angeles, CA. So that I have a greater network to manage more artists and make their dream a reality.
- My target audience is Artist Managers who would be interested in working with me in the future. Also current and past students of Full Sail University, I would love to work with as many like minded individuals in my career as possible.
- I have previously worked in medical offices, daycares, catering companies, and a retail store. Where I have learned how to multi-task, worked as a group and independently, patience, persistence, great organizational skills, and office finances. -These are all skills I am very proud of and hope to utilize in my career as an artist manager.
- I’m a huge Team player, have great attention to detail, Patient, Creative thinker, and a customer service advocate.
- My competitive advantage is my ability to work with anyone to complete a task. I strive for personal and professional growth and hope to learn as much as possible during my time at Full Sail to make the the most successful Artist Manager I can be.
- My mantra best represents the skills I have and who I am and strive to be. I strive for excellence on a daily basis and want to continue grow into someone I will always be proud of. I hope to utilize all my current skills and future skills in a rewarding career in Artist Management! Thank you!
