4. Rachel has been Head of Recruitment at Kubo since the company began almost 4 years
ago. During this time she has recruited for permanent and contract positions throughout
the EU, US, and has become highly experienced in recruiting for all levels of positions
within Life Sciences.
Rachel has 15 years of sales experience in account management with both Cargill
Texturing Solutions and Sanofi Bio Industries. This enables her to consult with clients and
understand their needs in depth, then deliver solutions to meet clients requirements.
Rachel involves Kubo Recruitment in community functions including sponsorship of MK
Lightning and MK Storm ice hockey teams, and by supporting Kubo’s regular donations to
The World Cancer Research Fund.

5. Having gained a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Manchester, Andi
worked in research roles for a number of multinational corporations including
big brands such as Kodak and Epson. Andi has been fortunate enough to
benefit from a number of professional training programs, which she is able to
utilize in her current role and enables her to deliver a professional level of
service.
In addition Andi has 15 years of sales and marketing experience in business
development, complimented by a strong technical background. Coupled to her
PhD, this enables her to understand complex technical aspects and
requirements. At the core of this expertise is her ability to consult with clients
and understand their needs in depth, then deliver solutions to meet the
identified requirements.

6. Philippa has over 7 years of experience within recruitment, 6 years of which
have been within the Pharmaceutical industry.
Having led and worked as part of recruitment teams within global CROs,
recruiting both internally and externally for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device
clients, Philippa has expertise in recruiting across a variety of disciplines,
including Biometrics, Medical Writing, Clinical Research, Quality Assurance and
Business Development. Philippa has recruited for permanent and contract
positions throughout the EU, US and South Africa, and is highly experienced in
recruiting for all levels of positions from Graduate to Senior Director level.
With the ability to work closely with clients to establish their resource needs,
and gain a thorough understanding of each requirement, Philippa has the
knowledge and expertise to successfully recruit for large-scale recruitment
drives, as well as highly specialized one-off positions.

7. Clare graduated with a degree in Modern European Studies with French and
German. She spent her early career using her languages as an Administrator for
a Financial investment company. Relocation to Oxford meant a career change
into IT support, working as part of a company’s European IT Helpdesk.
Clare then spent the next 6 years working as a Recruiter/Account Manager
within I.T. recruitment and then as Recruitment Consultant for a health, safety
and environmental recruitment company.
The business acumen she acquired there gave her the confidence and drive to
set up her own administrative company, Office-L, providing admin support to
small businesses in her local area. This she ran for a few years alongside
working as an Administrator for an estate agents and for a solar company,
before returning to the recruitment industry and Kubo Recruitment in 2015.
