Kristína Peláková is a Slovak singer who began singing, dancing and playing piano as a child in Svidník, Slovakia. She studied singing at the conservatory in Košice where she met her future producer Martin Kavulič. Her debut album "...ešte váham" was released in 2008 and contained her first hit song "Vráť mi tie hviezdy". Kristína went on to represent Slovakia at Eurovision 2010 with the song "Horehronie", an ode to the Horehronie region of Slovakia composed by Kavulič that became a number one hit.
