KPSI is a mental health association in Indonesia established in 2009 to address challenges of schizophrenia. It has grown from a small Yahoo group to over 71,000 members on Facebook and 285,000 followers on its Facebook page. KPSI offers programs like art therapy, peer support groups, and training to help those with mental illness and their families. It has received several awards for its work reducing stigma and has advocated for policies like the 2018 Mental Health Act. However, challenges remain like limited resources, funding, and government support. During COVID-19, KPSI provided online support, information, and financial assistance to help people access services and vaccines.
