Magic Of Natural Motif:Motif plays an important role in entire designing world. In my Article I am explaing the importance of motif in the field of jewellery Designing. there are so many motifs but see the magic of natural motif in Indian Jewellery.
India is culturally very vibrant country. You can see from my presentation how colourful a country and its people are. My presentation shows hoe colour is used by Indians in different ways

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

RANGOLI
Rangoli is the name of one of the most
artistic expressions of India.The design of
pictures on the walls and floors.It is a popular
art made in the houses by the families. It has
got some rituals and decoratives meanings.

4. WHAT IS A KOLAM AND
RANGOLI DESIGN?
• They are decorative
symmetrical
pictures.
• They are painted on
the floor in front of
the house’s door.
5. What symmetrical shapes can
you find in a rangoli?
• The common rangoli
themes are:
Geometrical figures
such as circles,
triangles, squares,
ovals and rectangles
dominate. Apart from
geometrical figures,
images of
flowers,creepers,
trees, rising sun, moon,
stars, chakra, fish,
birds, elephants,
dancing figures,
tridents etc.

RANGOLIS
• Traditionally women
painted the rangolis but
nowadays men also
paint them.
• They use rice powder to
create the pictures and
different colour chalks
to colour the rangolis.
8. A little bit of history about
kolan
• A kolan is a drawn
prayer that calls
prosperity to the
home.
• Also it is a symbol
that welcomes
everybody to the
house.

RANGOLI
• The design is
developed from
an initial
matrix of dots,
which are
joined by lines
closing the
drawing.

11. NOW LET’S DESIGN OUR
OWN RANGOLI
• Draw a design of your kolam or rangoli in a
piece of paper.
• Crush chalk powder and decorate your little
ranyoli.
• Now work with a group and decide which of
your rangolis you like best.
• Let’s go to the playground and design a big
kolam with your friends.
