1. ACL Tear (Pre & Post-
Surgery or Non- Surgical)
 Goals:- Regain range of motion, Strengthen
quadriceps/ hamstring, Improve stability.
 Exercise:- Heel slides, Straight leg raise, Balance
training, Squats.
 Tools:- Resistance band, Balance board.

2. MCL / LCL Injury
Goals:- Reduce swelling, restore motion,
strength knee stabilizer.
Exercise:- Quad set, step-ups, hip
strengthening.
Progression:- Brace initially, gradual return to
sport.

3. PCL Tear
Goal:- Strengthen quadriceps (avoid
hamstring overuse), restore full extension.
Exercise:- Wall sits, leg presses(light weight),
quad sets.

4. Meniscus Tear
Goals:- Maintain knee motion, reduce
swelling, avoid twisting.
Exercise:- Eccentric squats (e.g.:- decline
board), calf stretches.
Adjuncts:- Taping and Ultra sound

(Jumper’s knee)
Goals:- Reduce tendon stress, correction
biomechanics.
Exercises:- Eccentric squats (e.g.:- decline
board), calf stretches.

6. Knee dislocation
Goal:- Restore full function, stabilize knee &
avoid recurrence.
Exercise:- ROM early, Followed by quad
strengthening.
Precaution:-Bracing early on.

Post Immobilization goals:- Regain motion,
strength & prevent stiffness.
Exercise:- Gentle passive ROM (early, then
progressive weight bearing).
Timeline:- Slow progression depending on
healing.

8. Bursitis
Goals:- Reduce inflammation and correct
movement issues.
Treatment:- Stretching, strengthening, near
by muscles (e.g.:- quad, hamstring, posture
correction).

movement mechanism.
 Exercise:- Foam rolling, hip abductor
strengthening, cores stability.
 Common correction:- Adress over pronation or
gait issues.
