Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) is a suite of services that enhances the two-way connection between researchers and research users so that research can inform decisions about public policy and professional practice. YorkU's Knowledge Mobilization Services include research summaries, a research translation help desk, research partnerships, KMb interns, and social media to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between researchers and knowledge users. Case studies highlight projects like Toronto's first heat registry developed in partnership with a community organization, research summaries on a specific topic made available online, and the use of social media for knowledge mobilization.
