Hunter Douglas played a central role in providing shutters for a massive redevelopment project in King's Cross, London that included 2,000 new homes and 10 new public squares spread across 67 acres. For the ArtHouse apartment complex, Hunter Douglas installed 435 sliding shutters, including some over 6 meters tall for duplex apartments. The shutters provide shade and privacy for residents while allowing natural light and views. Hunter Douglas worked closely with the architects and contractors to design a shutter system that maximized thermal control and privacy without blocking views from the apartments.
