Please accept this letter of recommendation for a former employee of mine, Vanessa Massey.
As Vanessa's supervisor from 2012 until her departure in 2015, I can tell you that she is the type
of employee that will be very hard to replace. She is detail oriented, punctual, and dedicated.
Vanessa volunteered to take on - in a leadership capacity - several difficult projects on campus
and completed them on time and thoroughly. Her computer/technical abilities allowed the
Career Services, Marketing and Advertising Departments to automate many reports that had
previously been laborious. With her superior technical skills and her ability to organize and
coordinate tedious information - Vanessa was a tremendous asset to our entire college. We are
still reaping the benefits of the time saving measures she implemented.
Vanessa is the type of employee who never leaves an opportunity to improve on the table or
unresolved. She has the unique ability to see the bigger picture and those observations she made
helped us to find ways to help people work smarter. ..not harder.
Vanessa developed several student workshops related to employability issues and sheknows
how to instruct and motivate students to achieve their goals.
As Campus Administrator, I relied on Vanessa's ability to organize information and her
