State Highway 195   Continued construction by TxDOT on State Highway 195 will create a four-lane, divided roadway to Interstate 35 South.
Expansion of infrastructure at Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport   Killeen City officials are collaborating with Fort Hood and Department of Defense officials to construct a second parallel runway at the joint-use airport. The runway will provide the capability of landing fixed wing jets to recruit an Air Force component to Fort Hood and diversify the armed forces mission. Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport
Darnall Medical Center The hospital on Fort Hood has been redesignated as a medical center. The redesignation will bring approximately 2,000 new jobs to the area. Specialty areas could include medical trauma care and/or medical training.  Construction on the $196 million medical center is expected to be complete by 2016.  The project adds to the stabilization of Fort Hood.
