The Taonui STRIVE planning meeting brought together parents, teachers, and students to discuss values to guide their school. In brainstorming sessions, they generated words representing the school and ultimately chose the acronym STRIVE, standing for success, teamwork, respect, individuality, and vision. The students emphasized including enjoyment to capture making learning fun and an opportunity for creative tasks with friends. Next steps are for the planning team to define what each STRIVE value means for implementing at the school.
