KIDNAPPED
CHAPTER 1
On the fine spring morning, in June 1751, a young man named David Balfour was preparing to leave
his village in Scotland, for the first time in his life. The village priest, Campbell, was waiting for him
outside the church "Davie, my son, I'll be with you for a while." The older man said, "And they walked
together for a while. Do you feel like you've left? "asked the priest, Well, I've been happy here, but
I've never been anywhere else. My father died a few years ago, and now my mother is also dead.
I can help. said Mr. Campbell, The priest gave David the l Balfour, from the house of Shaws. He gave
it life, and Shaws' house sounded in a situation in which Ebenezer Czecht started again in Lage.
"There are things properly in the bird, and it obeys the truth." Then Mr. Campbell gave David here to
help him. David stood on a hill, looking towards the great city of Edinburgh. He asked Cramond on
the way, and when he got there; It seemed nice, surrounded by sheep fields. What was happening?
Finally, he decided to find out. After all, the only family he now had was there.
CHAPTER 2
My father wrote well, even though he was the younger brother; David thought about the book
collection. One had a personal message with pride. Later, he asked his uncle about this. Well, I was
much faster than him, when I was young. I could read as soon as I could, "replied the old man," Well
then, how much older were you? "David did not finish his sentence, Ebenezer's face was red and at
first he looked angry, then scared. He grabbed David by the jacket. "Why are you asking?" He yelled,
"Take your hand off!" David said, pulling Ebenezer's arm. Ebenezer relaxed and his voice changed.
The brother's wife left Shaws and never returned. People say she was so sad about the death of her
husband that she got sick and died. This is how things remained in the hands of Ebenezer. David felt
sad and confused, so he had been right in guessing that his uncle hid a secret, and that involved
David's father! The old man had tried to kill him too, to make sure that Shaws the house would be his
to always!
CHAPTER 3
When he woke up, David was in the dark. He felt a soft movement and heard the sound of the sea.
He understood that he was still in the Covenant. His hands and feet were tied and his head hurt. He
was a prisoner! A few hours later, a door opened on him, and an old sailor came down the stairs. He
examined David's head and said: "It's not too bad a blow, young man!
A few days later, bad weather forced the ship to retreat. At night, near the Scottish coast, they heard
a great roar. The furnace had run over a boat. A survivor was brought on board. He seemed a strong
and intelligent man. While removing his thick coat, David saw that he was carrying a sword. "This
man is a fighter, but he talks like a gentleman who thought he would take me there," the man said.
Scotland, money belt around his waist, and "I was on my way to France, Captain, and I would be
grateful if Hoseason said," I can not do that, but maybe I can take you back to "I hope you're a man
honest, "the stranger replied.
CHAPTER 4
He pointed to a cabinet behind Alan. "There are guns there," he said. With the handle of his sword,
Alan broke the lock; He checked the weapons. Suddenly, the door of the small room opened and
Hoseason appeared. Alan pointed his sword at him and shouted, "Get away, killer dog!" Hoseason
looked at him angrily. "Is this how you pay for my hospitality?" He asked: "This is how I pay those
who make plans to kill Mel.
The door must remain open. I want a clear view of any attack. "David pointed a gun up and waited, I
told him the tranquility continued forever, then the sound of running feet, and war cries and several
men appeared with swords in their hands. Alan fought against them, he killed one and another fell
wounded.
Now let's say something more cheerful. Did you know that besides being a good swordsman, I can
touch the pipes and I am a good fisherman? "He asked and smiled, David also smiled." What a proud
man! "He thought," Suddenly they heard footsteps, Hoseason appeared at the door, "No more
fighting," he said, "We need to talk!" I hit the ward. "Speak then," he ordered.
CHAPTER 5
When David and Alan climbed onto the deck, it was getting dark. The wind grew stronger and the
waves higher. The captain pointed to the horizon. "Do you see them?" I ask. They looked, and soon
they saw some rocks shining in the moonlight. "Those are the rocks of Torran," Alan said. "I think
they are ten miles long"
A few hours later, he realized he was on an island. He sat down, sad and tired, trying to decide what
to do. But he could not do much. Then, he waited and waited for the rescue. Meanwhile, I had to find
food. He found shellfish on the rocks and ate them
CHAPTER 6
David headed to the harbor to get more news about Alan He sat near the boats feeling very tired after
five days of travel. One of the boats was preparing to set sail and the people on the ship sadly bid
farewell to others in the port. They are going to live in the United States, friend. They may never see
each other again.
It is a difficult country, boy, but there is a way. Do not worry, Alan is waiting for you there and be
careful because the king's agent, Colin Campbell, travels there with red-cloaked soldiers. May God
be with you, boy!
Campbell smiled. "Well, you have courage, but still, tell me From the hill of the forest, a gunshot came
in. Campbell screamed and fell off his horse, the lawyer came down beside Campbell on the ground."
He's dead ! the lawyer shouted. David looked toward the hills and saw someone running through the
bushes. The boy ran up the hill, intending to pursue the killer.
CHAPTER 7
When they were near the house, Alan commits three times and outside, a tall man with Barba arrived.
Alan received his cousin, and introduced him to David. James spoke with fear.
His wife sat in a chair, looking very attentive "Alan, best of my family if they were still alive. But let's
get inside, inside, Alan and David saw people running around the house.James worried, while his
son is burning from the fireplace documents.
When he came back, he seemed even more anxious. "Alan, I'm thinking ... someone may have seen
you coming here, I'll have to trick the soldiers in some way, and the best way is to make posters of
the two of you, saying that the soldiers they want.
CHAPTER 8
In the morning, they left again. After hours of walking, he reached the end of a mountain range. Now,
there is danger around us, "said Alan. But if we go east, there will probably be fewer soldiers. "Still,
the earth is very flat and we must be very careful.
They had traveled far enough from danger and were not far from the mountain, and there were large
rocks and hives nearby. Suddenly, four men appeared Alan called them in Gaelic, a language that
David did not understand. I talked to them for a while, then I turned to David. "Just as I thought, these
are the men of Cluny MacPherson He will hide us for a while," he said that David had heard of this
man before. He was one of the most important leaders of the rebellion against England.
CHAPTER 9
The next night, one of Cluny's men led Alan and David to a new hiding place. For a long time they
walled in silently. Now they felt bad about what had happened in the cave. Maybe I should go, if you
do not love me anymore. in times of danger It is very wrong of you to think that you would do it.
David threw his own sword down. "I'm sorry, Alan, I do not know what I'm saying, I'm sick near death,
forgive me," he said and fell to the ground. Alan ran to him and picked him up. "I'm here, Davie, you
will not die!" Alan took David in his arms. He called the first door he came to, praying silently for help
in the land of an enemy.
Alan had promised to help David recover his inheritance, in any way he could. But when they reached
the river, they saw soldiers.
David told him the whole story, everything that happened immediately after the death of his parents.
The lawyer listened, without saying anything until David finished the long story
CHAPTER 10
The next morning, the lawyer and David went to Shaws's house. Mr. Rankeillor, "said David," I've told
you everything except my companion's name. For his safety, I wanted to wait until I felt I could trust
you.
David nodded. When they reached the fields where Alan hid, David whistled three times. This was a
secret signal, and Alan appeared. "Mr. Rankeillor, met immediately understood that his name should
be kept secret." He said and winked at her. "Alan, I'm delighted to meet you, Mr. Thomson," said the
lawyer, smiling. David has a plan.
Alan looked at him closely. "Hmmm ... Well, I see two possibilities here, or you pretend that you do
not care about him, so we ask for less money for his release, or you really do not care, but it's too
much work to keep him off, so maybe we'll let him go.
I have secret friends to meet, who will take me on a ship to France, to my leader. "I do not care if
you're not loyal to King George, like me, Alan. I love you like a brother, whatever happens, "the boy
said to Alan, he disappeared, he turned around and said hello again, maybe there were more
adventures in the future for both of them. And I feel the same, Davie, "he said," Alan in return. "They
hugged each other warmly, then Alan walked away, just before, although he felt very sad, David had
a feeling they would meet him.
END.

Kidnapped

  • 1. KIDNAPPED CHAPTER 1 On the fine spring morning, in June 1751, a young man named David Balfour was preparing to leave his village in Scotland, for the first time in his life. The village priest, Campbell, was waiting for him outside the church "Davie, my son, I'll be with you for a while." The older man said, "And they walked together for a while. Do you feel like you've left? "asked the priest, Well, I've been happy here, but I've never been anywhere else. My father died a few years ago, and now my mother is also dead. I can help. said Mr. Campbell, The priest gave David the l Balfour, from the house of Shaws. He gave it life, and Shaws' house sounded in a situation in which Ebenezer Czecht started again in Lage. "There are things properly in the bird, and it obeys the truth." Then Mr. Campbell gave David here to help him. David stood on a hill, looking towards the great city of Edinburgh. He asked Cramond on the way, and when he got there; It seemed nice, surrounded by sheep fields. What was happening? Finally, he decided to find out. After all, the only family he now had was there. CHAPTER 2 My father wrote well, even though he was the younger brother; David thought about the book collection. One had a personal message with pride. Later, he asked his uncle about this. Well, I was much faster than him, when I was young. I could read as soon as I could, "replied the old man," Well then, how much older were you? "David did not finish his sentence, Ebenezer's face was red and at first he looked angry, then scared. He grabbed David by the jacket. "Why are you asking?" He yelled, "Take your hand off!" David said, pulling Ebenezer's arm. Ebenezer relaxed and his voice changed. The brother's wife left Shaws and never returned. People say she was so sad about the death of her husband that she got sick and died. This is how things remained in the hands of Ebenezer. David felt sad and confused, so he had been right in guessing that his uncle hid a secret, and that involved David's father! The old man had tried to kill him too, to make sure that Shaws the house would be his to always! CHAPTER 3 When he woke up, David was in the dark.
