The Definition of Computer-Assisted Language Learning Part 1 "Computer-Assisted Language Learning is the search for and stu dy of applications of the computer in language teaching and lea rning" Levy (1997) Generally, Computer-assisted language Learning (CALL) is an ap proach to teaching and learning in which the computer and com puter-based resources such as the Internet are used to present, reinforce and assess material to be learned. It usually includes a substantial interactive element. It also includes the search for an d the investigation of applications in language teaching and lear ning.
