Virginia elections, 2019
Virginia held state elections in 2019 where Democrats made gains. Districts 10 and 13 flipped from Republican to Democratic control. Ghazala Hashmi defeated Republican Glen Sturtevant in District 10, while Democrats captured several state House of Delegates seats. Democrats gained control of both chambers in the state legislature for the first time since 1994 by winning at least 21 state Senate seats.

- After hearing balanced arguments for and against the deal, a majority (51%) wanted Congress to reject it.
- When presented with 10 specific concerns about the deal, opposition skyrocketed and just 30% still supported Congressional approval, while 58% wanted rejection.
The survey found that as Jewish Americans learn more about the Iran deal, opposition to it rises significantly.
