- So what’s the pain I’m trying to solve with this business?Most girls moving to college and looking to be involved in Greek life at their university never really think about how many formal events there are once you pledge a sorority
- Additionally, the majority of those girls cannot afford to spend the time or money on formal wear for all of the events that they will be required to attend (e.g. rush, invites/exchanges, parties, etc.)
- Most of the dress and accessory rental companies that are already present in the market only offer high-end/couture options that even at an average rental rate of 10-15% of the full retail price, are already in the hundreds of dollars per rental
- Product/Service: My website-based service will rent name-brand, formal dresses and accessories to customers at approximately 10-15% of the full retail price, depending on the type of garment and the cost of transportation and cleaning.This will allow girls who are looking for a high quality garment for a single occasion to pay for it on a cost-per-wearing basis, as opposed to paying for the whole dress if they are only going to wear it once
