NANCY KASBERG
I’m not the smartest or the most creative person but my work ethic is unparalleled. I take pride in my craft
and I am determined to succeed. I’m adventurous, ambitious and love meeting new people. The fact that I
am bilingual and have lived in three different continents has often helped me connect with foreigners and
ultimately helped me produce better documentaries. Video is my hobby and sharing people’s amazing
stories is my passion.

Television News Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge
AMERICAN FORCES NETWORK KAISERSLAUTERN, GERMANY
- Oversaw 6 man team produce 150 television/radio/social media products for 65K audience in 1 year.
- Teamed up with engineers to plan/fund/execute a humanitarian mission to Uganda. I created a
promotional video that helped fund an 8 man team ($14K). I spent one week in Uganda providing a clean
water solution to 120 families. I produced a video of this that gained 68K+ views on Facebook.
- Requested by name to travel to 7 countries in Europe and Africa to highlight U.S. and allied nation’s
efforts. I produced stories on international schools, conferences, exercises and humanitarian efforts.
- Key player in winning Station of the Year for American Forces Europe, an award given to the military
station who best communicates with their audience.

- This low manned shop pushed me to produce more than 100 radio/television news reports in one year.
Even with the high turn out, I pushed for quality and was awarded product of the year for all of AFN Korea.
-To improve my communication skills, I learned how to host a radio show. I did 80 hours of live radio.
