ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
• Wrote award-winning newspaper series that helped pass a new child abuse prevention law.
• Launched, as part of a small team, a new MFA program in Aqaba, Jordan for filmmakers from the
MENA region. Accredited 2011.
• Directed feature films in Russia, India, and Peru, with local crews, on time and within budget.
• Created the post-production department at Concorde-Anois, a new independent film studio in
County Galway, Ireland.
• Created an Arts in Education pilot program for 4th and 5th graders.

Created an Arts in Education program for 4th and 5th graders, from low-to-mid SES. Using iPads,
students made short live-action and animated videos for an anti-bullying campaign; a group
project, What Is Community?; documentation of physics experiments, and original plays based on
American historical events. Grant-funded.
