Primary Responsibilities
 Maintenance, upkeep, repair and placement of all safety and security equipment in the store. This includes all
cameras, camera system, sensor removers, emergency exit alarms, anti-theft exit EAS. Document all services
provided by outside contractors for any additional repairs to said equipment.
 Installation and upkeep of various overt and covert cameras throughout the building as well as the encoders that the
system generates picture through. This can included running line through the building for camera operation, being
able to properly position the cameras for optimal views and integrating the new lines into our digital system.
 Monthly maintenance checks of all equipment. This includes any all wiring, radios, cameras, POS removers
throughout the floors and other basic equipment that we use daily.
 Bi-Monthly remover audits for Wave Removers throughout the store.
 Control and programming of all stockroom locks for maintenance and security of leased and store controlled areas.
Included are Trilogy Locks, pad locks and combination locks.
 Bi-Yearly Trilogy code changes for each stockroom door in the facility as per our audit requirements.
 Implementation of new systems in various LP areas to aid on the security of the building as well as the safety of our
employees (i.e. extra cameras and monitors at the coworker door etc.)
 Deggy Administrator. Deggy Guard Tour System installation and maintenance
 Regiscope upkeep, repair and ordering. Regiscope tech and administrator.
 Issuing proper keys to LP and store staff.
 Point person for Loss Prevention on all construction projects in the 59th street store (helping with blue prints and
devising schematics for potential camera placement, ordering cameras and equipment for new shops, consulting on
various equipment placements in said shops and answering any security questions posed from the general
contractors). This also entails helping to make sure the contractors are following rules of conduct while working
during and after hours, making sure the needs of our contractor coincide with the needs of the store and creating a
good working relationship the two.
 Looking over SPR’s from our construction crews.
 Aid the Physical Security Manager in coordinating with our equipment vendors. This may include scheduling times
for outside maintenance and repair teams to be on site as well as trouble shooting related issues with said vendors
over conference calls or face to face on the job site.
 Key control procedures/audits for critical and noncritical keys for day and overnight LP associates and store facility
staff.
 Aid in maintenance of the stockroom doors and/or other projects when engineering is off sight or unavailable.
 Various carpentry and/or engineering jobs that may be required around the LP complex and certain areas of the
store.
 Shipping damaged equipment to appropriate vendors and tracking all transactions with various units of paperwork.
 Sending off case notes and video to authorities/officials for our internal and external teams.
 Administrator for the BlueWave card access network.
 Maintenance, upkeep and repair of radios. This includes issuing and documenting use around the complex.
 Repairing and created new sensormatics from various parts and pieces in our inventory to aid in our budgetary
concerns.
