This document describes an experiment testing whether asparagus can inhibit the growth of yeast cells. It involved growing yeast in different broth solutions with and without asparagus, measuring absorbance over time with a spectrophotometer, and counting yeast colonies on agar plates with and without asparagus to compare growth. The results showed lower absorbance values and fewer colonies for yeast grown in broth and plated with asparagus compared to the positive control.
