This design portfolio contains projects focused on community engagement and redevelopment. It includes a project in New Orleans where the designer learned about engaging local communities. Another project involved redesigning a Baltimore housing community based on community needs. A further project created an interlocking building design combining public and private spaces. Finally, a project proposed an alternative to an expressway in New Orleans to restore a traditional neighborhood destroyed by its construction.

private areas.The center space acts as a interlocking

Redefining the Cultural Corridor
I-83 expressway in Treme was built to create easier
travel through New Orealans but at the cost of de-
stroying traditional Treme. My team was tasked with
coming up with an alternate to the I-83 expressway
in order to return Treme to its former glory.
