This document summarizes efforts to improve a 100-acre greenbelt area in Seattle called "The Jungle". For many years, the land was plagued by problems like illegal dumping and encampments that affected nearby neighborhoods. A partnership between city departments, agencies, and community groups was formed to address these issues. Through quarterly cleanups removing 67 tons of garbage and improved access for police, the area is being restored for community use. The collaborative efforts have proved a great success in improving this troubled green space.
