1. 8 Week Mosaic Plate Bible Study
In this interactive hands-on Bible Study you will be creating your very own
mosaic cross inside of a charger plate. Mosaic artist, Dee Everson will be leading
you through this Biblical journey and also teaching you the basics of the ancient
art of mosaics.
Throughout the course of the week you will be required to do about 15 minutes
of Bible reading 5 days a week along with meditation on the study questions,
and you will be journaling your experiences in light of what you are learning
about the Lord and His Word a few times a week. This will prepare your heart to
learn what the Lord wants to teach you.
We will come together for class, have refreshments and dive in. With vibrant
colored glass as our medium, we will begin building our mosaic plate using your
experiences, emotions, reactions to circumstances and your revelations from the
Lord to determine the color and design of your keepsake plate.
We will study topics such as:
Coming to Christ broken and letting Him put you back together.
God restores you, makes you new and puts the pieces of your life back together
so that He gets the glory.
God wastes nothing—all your experiences are meaningful and are building the
mosaic of your life. (Even the bad stuff!)
Faith is necessary to walk one step at a time. God sees the finished picture, the
masterpiece of your life and is working towards it’s completion on a daily basis.
You will do an inventory check—what talents have you been gifted with, what
tugs at your heart, and how does it relate to God’s will for your life?
Together with each other we are beautiful and complete. We need each other.
Peace by Piece
Class begins on Tuesday June 23rd and continues through Tuesday August 11th. Because of the nature of this class it is important to be in
attendance for each weeks’ class, although there will be a make-up option each week from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. before class to work on your
plate should you miss a session.
There is a $40 fee for this class. All supplies will be included unless you wish to use your own personal journal versus the journal pages included
in the workbook.
