July 2018 - 20th Anniversary of the Allen College - Part-II

1. Allen College Technical Team, Beth and Donna or is it Donna and Beth?
Tireless work in gathering information about the history of Allen College, its
inception and a story of all the year groups in these past 20 years. So much to
cover in a short presentation, but the story was told.
Narain's story is below, he has come to homoeopathy much like Dr. Mahendra
Lal Sircar, as a scientist who wanted to prove homoeopathy was a farce. His
story represents so many patient's stories too, so it is re produced below.
"...............................Dear All, Dear Dr. Banerjea, Dear Janet, Dear Dr. Olfat,
Dear Beth and Dear Donna… I really wanted to be there and give this speech
personally because it is really an important day. And it’s important because it
has been already 20 years that Allen College has been training high qualified
homeopaths around the world, and this is definitely a reason to celebrate. Not
just because of the training in itself, but because you have changed the life of
many people for the better, and I am one of them. This is the reason I could
not hold my temptation of writing at least a few words for you and all ACH.
Strict science and mechanicism has only made me blind, I was living in a
microcosmos of comfort and arrogance, and I was losing all the qualities of a
real science man, until what happened later changed me completely. I was
following the rules of mechanicism to the point of “scientific terrorism the
point that I was one of the biggest detractors of alternative medicines until very
recently, year 2015 and with special disgust towards homeopathy. You can see
me know, there is not a single day I don’t wake up thinking about a keynote
related to a remedy, there isn’t a single day that I try to find the remedy
picture in people…., or just still trying to ask myself what is bigger the
knowledge of the universe or of homeopathy? Moreover, as Dr. Banerjea says
in relation to the remedies during our actual summer school sessions: “Are we
experimenting features of homeopathy under a universal constitution?” Or

2. even the other way round: “Are we experimenting the universe under the basis
of the natural laws of homeopathy”? Not an easy reply I shall say, at least for
me. Dear colleagues and friends, is not that there isn’t science behind
homeopathy, it’s just that it is still too early for everyone to experiment a huge
change in modern science. Apples still fell from the tree even before Newton
discovered the law of gravity, DNA and genes and inheritance was still a fact
even before Watson and Crick and before the genetic experiments of Mendel.
People are still in their comfort zones thinking that because the dilutions are
not based on Avogadro, on basic chemistry, homeopathy is simply quackery. It
is like trying to explain Einstein’s theory of relativity based on Newton’s laws.
Finally after so many years of tormenting myself, of not finding the right pieces
of the puzzle that matched my thoughts, that thought that supposed to be
universal but still didn’t seem like it, and what I mean is the aspects of my
crude and raw data analysis, of the local symptoms, of the material micro
universe within local complaints, the stubbornness of thinking that a mental
complaint does not have anything to do with a cardiovascular problem for
example. The stubbornness of the ultra-high specialization in biomedicine,
that each time was more patent. But all this mechanicistic thoughts
disappeared when I went to Kolkota in 2016 to the training program with Dr.
Banerjea, Dr. Saptarshi, with Janet, with great homeopaths which I met there
like Dr. Purnendu Basu, Ashok Das..Deepa Sharma, I went with absolutely
any idea, not a single knowledge about homeopathy. My only concern was to
discover, to move out from that comfort zone, to break the ice and stillness of
my mind, to see if a different therapeutical approach like homeopathy was real
or just quackery. I have to tell you after this experience, my ego was slapped
left and right because even with my scientific mechanicistic beliefs, I was not
even able to articulate a single word after watching the great clinical results
that homeopathy made in the clinics in Kolkota. Coming back from that trip,
back to Spain again, I realized that my life was already giving a very big turn, I
have been magically transformed by this experience, it looked like I was
travelling not only back to Spain, but to a parallel universe that was waiting
for me to dive in and show me very much of the things that I was looking for.
Until today, 2 years after this experience. When you are touched by
homeopathy, there is no return back, there is no return to the mechanicistic
thoughts, there is no gap for “scientific terrorism”, there is only love for
progress and for truth. I will always be grateful to you Dr. Banerjea for having
used the right sources to convince me to take that trip to Kolkata in 2016,
because you have given me a new life and I will be eternally grateful for this!
Maybe one day I can give you some of this in return, …do you accept payment
in instalments? Thank you very much to all the ACH team, and my sincerest
congratulations to all of you for such a wonderful job! Please do continue for
another 20 years or more!! Narain M...................................."
So there were surprises for Janet & Subrata and this was the surprise
for the guests. A dance lesson from an Indian dancer, Sarika who was
keen to share her Bollywood style of dance with the graduates this year.
Lucille and Katie will never be the same again.

3. A message from Melanie Krneta
"...........................Dear Dr. Banerjea and Janet
I didn't get the opportunity to speak today (must have been a computer thing
as I was there!) I did want to thank you and the entire team at Allen College for
their unending support with all of my ups and downs for the past 3 years,
along with the computer glitches (thanks Beth and Donna). There has been
nothing but kindness and encouragement from everyone and I truly appreciate
all of you.
Dr. Banerjea and Janet you have both been such an inspiration and role
models for me. Your passion for homoeopathy is evident and it shows us each
day the positive steps to take towards success. I truly want to make you
proud as I go into the world with the arsenal of knowledge I have receive.
Words will never express my gratitude enough.
Congratulations on your 20th anniversary. I am so honoured to have been a
part of this years graduating class in particular. I wish you many, many more
years of success. Enjoy your celebration tonight!

4. PS I'm kind of glad I didn't have a chance to speak as you would have seen me
turn into a Pulsatilla right before your eyes!
Sincere thanks from our Belgian graduate who has a wonderful charm

5. We would like to thank everyone who has been or is a part of the college,
all of whom have been a part in the success that is, Allen College. A long
story which has no conclusion so far.
We also, would both like to thank everyone who contributed both to the
educational week and the celebration of the Allen College of
Homoeopathy's 20th Anniversary.
