THE BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT IN MY LIFE (SO FAR)
Teacher, the biggest achievement in my life so far is when I
beat my online game addiction.
First, beating my online games addiction is so far, the biggest
achievement because I was a hardcore online gamer. I was only
7 when I first played an online video game. Imagine being a player
for almost 12 years! It was such a long time considering the hours
I put in to become an established gamer. It started off with an
hour and then it became a second nature. I lost track of time and
it was not long after that, I actually did not care much of anything
else than gaming. It was the most difficult habit to break but I did
3. Second, beating my online game addiction is definitely my
biggest achievement so far because I beat it in the shortest
time. The revelation came with the intervention of my beloved
family and friends. They made me realise I am wasting my youth
away by sitting in front of the screen day in, day out. When I saw
my mother cried – that was it! I did not mean any harm but maybe
I was in denial. Not long after the intervention – 35 days to be exact
- I managed not to go anywhere closer to log in to any of the
online game websites. I was determined to kick the habit and I did
not do it alone. Family and friends keep on cheering me up and they
let me see there is a bigger world in reality than online. That short
period of time was not my goal but looking back, I am proud to say
that it is one of the reasons I think that my biggest achievement
in life so far is beating my online game addiction.
4. In conclusion, I believe the biggest achievement in my life
so far is beating my online game addiction since I had been an
addict for quite a long time but I beat the addiction in the shortest
time possible. I am also proud of many other achievements that
I am lucky to have such as scoring the test with full marks, climbing
the Ledang mountain and making my own money by selling designs.
I believe with me no longer being an online game addict, there will be
more achievements for me to reach. Make a lot of do’a for me,
teacher!
