This document provides clinical practice guidelines for the physical therapy management of neck pain. It includes recommendations for impairment-based diagnosis, examination, and interventions for neck pain classified into four categories: neck pain with mobility deficits, neck pain with movement coordination impairments, neck pain with headaches, and neck pain with radiating pain. The recommendations are based on a review of the scientific literature published prior to August 2016 and are intended to guide evidence-based physical therapy practice for neck pain.
