Blaze goes to the sand pit to build a monster castle but is upset by bullies throwing rubbish. He picks up the rubbish but doesn't know which bins to use for the different items. Blaze asks Julie for help, and she quizzes him on where chip packets, glad wrap, and paper go. Blaze correctly identifies the rubbish bin is red, recycling bin is yellow, and paper goes in the paper sack. Julie praises Blaze for learning how to properly sort rubbish.

1. Blaze and the trash pit

2. One day Blaze ran to the sand pit.
He wanted to create a castle.

3. Blaze was very excited to be creating
his monster castle. But Blaze didn't
like something. There were bullies
throwing sand and dropping rubbish.

4. Blaze picked up the rubbish but he
didn't know which bins the chip
packet, glad wrap and paper had to
go into. He told them that it was
naughty to be throwing sand.

5. So Blaze got Mr Jenkins to sort
them out.

6. Blaze sprinted to Julie and asked
Julie which bins to put the rubbish in.

7. Julie asked Blaze, "what colour is
the rubbish bin?"
Blaze giggled, "red"
Julie asked " what about the
recycling bin?"
"Yellow."
"What about the paper?"
"Paper sack".

8. "Now is the chip packet rubbish, recycling or paper?"
"Rubbish!" yelled Blaze.
"Now, does the glad wrap go in the rubbish?"
"No!" screamed Blaze,
"Recycling?"
"Yes."
"What about the paper sack?"
"In the paper sack."
"Good sorting out Blaze," said Julie.

9. Now whenever Blaze finds rubbish
he knows what bins to put them in.
