Clarke mosquito nets helped eliminate lymphatic filariasis, a mosquito-borne disease, in two Nigerian states. With support from Clarke, The Carter Center, and other organizations, Plateau and Nasarawa states achieved the milestone of stopping disease transmission through public education, preventive measures like distributing Clarke's long-lasting insecticidal nets, and mass drug treatment. This success could help eliminate lymphatic filariasis globally since Nigeria is highly endemic for the disease.
