 It is the cover letter that accompanies your resume.
 It is a briefing of how much you are qualified for the job,
and how you are more ideal than the other
candidates.
 It makes one’s profile stand out and unique.

 It should match your qualification with the

commodity.

Types of Resume
The Resume is the first contact between the
company and the candidate.
1. Reverse-chronological – employers’
traditional and most familiar and preferred
template. It is not the most creative format.
2. Functional format (Skills-based)
3. Combination or hybrid format
Format(reverse- chronological )
1. Contact information- Name, phone no., address, email)
2. Career objective- well-framed objective speaks for the
candidate-chiseled expression using the most appropriate
vocabulary. Avoid outdated, stereotypical ones.
3. Work Experience(heart of the resume)- ideal in the
reverse chronological order- the recent first (highlighting
the key achievements)
4. Educational Qualification - same reversal order
highlighting the specification, if any.

Tips to prepare a good resume
Keep it concise: Keep it straight to the point statements.
Consistent font size: Avoid changing your font size. It can look
disorganized.
Use simple and readable fonts: Times New Roman / Arial
Give margins: Give a neat and complete look to your resume.
Use bullet points: Describe your past job responsibilities in
bullet points.
Add space: You should add space before and after each section.
Avoid grammatical and spelling errors: Grammatical and
spelling can irritate anybody reading it. It can give a wrong
