3. August17-18: America’s Heroes Celebration
August 17: Jekyll Island Beach Party
• 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Beach Music Festival will be
held at Great Dunes Park, with music from
Marshgrass Band featuring guest Jane Kramer,
to be followed by the Carolina Breakers.
• During music, festivities ensue, including a
beach bar, vendors and more.
• Admission is free.

4. August17-18: America’s Heroes Celebration
Jan & Dean Show with the Surf City Allstars
• Jekyll Island Convention Center
• Doors open at 4:45 p.m. for a pre-show
dinner, with the concert area opening at 6:30
p.m.
• The show begins at 7 p.m.
• Tickets range from $39 to $72.50 and are

5. August17-18: America’s Heroes Celebration
• The Military Appreciation Festival will be held
from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon
to 7 p.m. Sunday.
• This two-day showcase will feature military-
specific vendors, games and activities for
families, and more.
• ALL ACTIVITIES will be at Great Dunes Park.

• Fireworks on the beach Saturday at 9:30pm
• An Evening with Marjory Lee, Saturday night at
10:00pm at Latitude 31 and the “Rah” Bar

• Tickets for Amazing Events activities are free for
Active Duty, Reservists, Retirees and National
Guard of all branches of military services and
their families.
• Non-military attendees can purchase tickets for
Amazing Events activities for $10, with a
percentage of all proceeds being donated to
military support efforts.

8. August17-18: America’s Heroes Celebration
• Chris Yates on outside stage starting Sunday at
noon, followed by Courson Saunds, as well as
performances from Cole Taylor and Marjory Lee.
• Admission is free.

9. August17-18: America’s Heroes Celebration
August 18: Rodney Atkins Concert
• Rose Falcon opens the show at 4 p.m. at the
Jekyll Island Convention Center.
• Rodney Atkins takes the stage at 5 p.m.
• Tickets are: Advance tickets are $39 for General
