This document discusses the nature of Jesus Christ as both fully God and fully man. It explains that Jesus was divine from eternity past but took on human nature through the incarnation. As the God-man, Jesus possessed two natures, divine and human, in one person without separation or division. While possessing both natures, Jesus could experience human attributes like weakness and thirst as well as divine attributes like omnipotence and omniscience. The hypostatic union of Christ's divine and human natures is a mystery that cannot be fully understood but had the purpose of making Jesus a sympathetic intercessor for humanity.
