 The Wyoming Accountability in Education Act (WAEA) established a requirement to develop
procedures assigning all Wyoming public schools to one of the performance level categories:

 Meeting Expectations

 School Performance Indicators
 Growth: Measures how much students improved on the state test in reading and math from the prior
year to the current year compared to other students in the same grade with similar prior test scores.
 Equity: The median student growth percentile in reading and math combined for a subgroup of
students (like achievers) who had low reading and math scores in the prior school years.
 Achievement: The percent proficient or above on state tests in reading, math, science, and writing.
