individual and group counseling to the identified students. Monitored attendance, discipline, and academic data.
Collaborated with administrators, counselors, and parents to increase academic achievement. Of the identified
seniors, 84% completed Credit Recovery and graduated on time.
 Career Counseling: Led Career Development group for at-risk juniors. Increased students’ awareness of personal
interests and skills. Oversaw student goal-setting and development of post-graduation plans. Assisted group members
in obtaining career information and developing educational plans to support career goals.
 Teen Parent Education: Developed and co-led Parent Education group for teenage parents in an alternative school
setting. Taught parenting skills and life skills. Provided information about goal-setting, future planning, school
completion, and child development.
