This document discusses lung cancer symptoms, risk factors, and methods for testing and reducing risk. Lung cancer symptoms include coughing, shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest pain. Older adults and those exposed to toxins or who smoke are at greater risk. Smoking is a major risk factor. Tests like MRI, PET scans, and CT scans can detect lung cancer. While it cannot be prevented, not smoking and exercising can decrease chances of getting lung cancer.
