La nutrición previa a la concepción es una parte fundamental de la preparación para el embarazo. Factores como el peso de una mujer comparada con su altura y lo que se come pueden jugar un papel importante en la salud de la madre durante el embarazo y en la salud del feto en desarrollo.
Es importante también tener presente cuán importante es el peso de una madre antes del embarazo, influye en forma directa sobre el peso que tendrá el bebé al nacer.
PRIMER TRIMESTRE
Es la etapa donde se forman prácticamente todas las estructuras, los órganos y sistemas del feto. Después de esta etapa, todas las partes del cuerpo van a crecer y desarrollarse, y así mismo el feto va ganando peso y tamaño.
Es importante la formación de una placenta de tamañosuficiente por lo cual se vuelve imprescindible comer bien. Es decir: comer un poquito de cada cosa. Una alimentación adecuada implica diariamente: 20% de proteínas, 60% de hidratos de carbono no refinados, es decir, deben ser integrales y 20% de grasas.
Los hidratos de carbono deben ingerirse en lo posible en forma de granos, no de harinas. De esta forma mantienen la mayor parte de sus vitaminas y minerales, los cuales se perderían en el refinamiento. Lo positivo es que llenan pero no engordan y sus fibras contribuyen al buen funcionamiento del aparato digestivo.
El cereal tiene la glucosa que uno busca en un dulce, con la diferencia de que para llegar a ella los órganos digestivos deben trabajar mucho más. Al realizar una digestión más larga con los cereales se establece un circuito más equilibrado entre digestión, absorción y todos los procesos orgánicos (metabolismo). Tanto el dulce de leche como el arroz terminan en glucosa, pero el dulce no contiene ninguna vitamina y el cereal sí.
SEGUNDO TRIMESTRE
Alrededor de la 26 semana, el feto ha crecido unos 23centímetros y pesa 670 gramos aproximadamente.
Sigue creciendo rápidamente y a la semana 28 alcanza los 25cm y pesa 900 gramos, ya se evidencia en la madre el crecimiento de la matriz.
Es preciso aumentar el aporte de proteínas. Lo importante es que la mujer consuma las proteínas que necesita, sin interesar si son animales o vegetales, pero debe estar convenientemente asesorada para saber qué cantidad y que calidad le corresponde.
En este período también se necesita un aporte de hierro que las “carnívoras” obtendrán en la
carne, morcilla o huevo y las vegetarianas en la espinaca y las lentejas.
Hasta los seis meses son importantes las vitaminas: A y E quelas encontramos en la zanahoria, aceite, germen de trigo, yema de huevo; y la B que la hallamos en la levadura de cerveza
TERCER TRIMESTRE

After a bitter and protracted custody battle, declining mental health and three subsequent suicide attempts, I was diagnosed with a serious mental illness.
Though fearful of the consequences of exposing myself, I decided I would turn my life around and help others who had suffered as I had.
The next few years were spent testifying to members of Congress, speaking at local support groups and at thought leader conferences to offer my support, hope and encouragement that recovery was possible.
My YouTube Channel grew to 700,000 views, I published six short books, one of which was translated into Japanese, and developed a certification training program for others who wanted to peer coach.
During this time, I was estranged from most of my five children. The pain of the separation pushed me even further to learn how to stay healthy. My goal was to be the very best mother I could be should they ever return to my care.
After many years, I was reconciled with all my children and got married. I gave birth to my son, Hunter, at the age of 48, and had my twin girls at the age of 50.
My story is a story of redemption and second chances and this workshop is about the nuts and bolts of what one can DO give themselves a fresh start and live a new, intentional life.

4. Her clients regularly square their dream job,
time and location freedom, media attention and
sometimes, a six-figure self run coaching
business. Jeannine loves the challenge of
blending business with community, performance
and feminine power. She's been featured
living her purpose in the New York Times "Identity“
Magazine, the Coaches Training Blog, Well+Good
New York City and on ABC's "Gossip Girl," VHS
and in theaters across the U.S. and New York City.
Her favorite roles include Audrey in "Little Shop of
Horrors," Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls," Sugar in
"Some Like It Hot" and Pippi in the "Burlesque
Sisters” sitcom.
5. She’s proud…
She’s most proud of right now is she really
made it out of the hood - growing up is where
she was and she really made it out of a family
that is lost in addiction into a life where she
really feels like she’s living a dream life. And
more of that keeps coming true every day.
She’s proud of making it on Broadway despite
the fact that she’s terrified of rejection and
auditioning and was able to book a show on
Broadway and have that dream come true.
6. She, 21, moved to NY City, working 3 jobs.
She done theatre all her life growing up. She
learned she wasn’t going to pay the bills. So
she ended up stuck in 2 jobs that she had
zero passion for.
8. A lot of her money was going to just bailing
her mom out of jail or giving money to her dad
to pay off his debt. And then the rest was just
going to try to pay my rent so that she could
live out on her own and try to separate from
her family life.
9. Jeannine is in love
with personal
development and
empowerment.
She loves to listen
to Tony Robbins,
an empowerment
and life coach,
CDs and reads his
books.
“The greater the risk, the greater the achievement.”
10. The risks…
First: she auditioned to a musical theater
school in New York – no idea if she can afford
the school or leave all 3 jobs.
Second: She broke with her boyfriend, rented
on her own, & terrified if she could find
someone who could love her like his.
Third: She got into the school in NY – she
applied for loan of $50,000 & risked to leave
her jobs.
“Trust your instincts.”
11. If she wants to have better results in her life,
her first most valuable place to start is
by looking at those beliefs that she has.
Realizing that they don't have to be the be
all, end all. And then trying to support a new,
empowering belief by finding the
resources to add legs to that table. And this is
the same reason why the rich get
richer and the poor get poorer. Because if you
have poor beliefs and you see all
around you that everyone is struggling and
that it's hard to survive.
12. The most
important thing
about goal-setting
is that you actually
are really specific
about what you
want. And there's
also a whole
process involved
with kind of
manifesting and
celebrating and
being sure to be in
tune with what it is
that you're coming
in.
The Goal
Use the SMART technique
which just means specific,
measurable, attainable,
realistic and timely.
13. Pain and pleasure is the natural key to
motivation. So if our pain and
pleasure associations in our mind are off,
we won't actually be motivated to do
anything. That means if you're associating
more pain to taking action than more
pleasure, then you're going to find it really
hard to create movement.
14. Making life
better…
The most consistent action step is her
daily morning ritual and the sisterhood –
having a community of like-minded
women has changed her life.

15. One of the biggest lessons is learning to
not do it alone, but also learning to
ask for support the way that you really
need and desire it. And having people in
your life that are willing to show up for you
in that way.
16. A book by Gay Hendricks called “The Big
Leap”
Jeannine had a big rise in her business
this year. She makes those financial
growth is this – allowing herself to raise
the upper limit.
17. Think about what we talked about with
beliefs. And to see if you can find some room
in you to create a re-frame. To test,
to play detective of what's going on in your
thoughts. Because we are our thoughts.
We are our stories that we tell in our mind.
And if you change your beliefs, you change
your story and you change your outer
experience. So I think the most powerful place
to start when you're feeling trapped
is just to play detective. To see if you can find
the spaces where you're leaning too
far into that feeling of "trapped." To see if
there's any room for you to see the way
out? if you just open yourself to being
detective first, you start to show
yourself the way to baby steps.
