After the crash
I was driving my truck, going to meet
Helen and Maggie, when i hit
something, very hard, that made me
crash. What followed next was a true
nightmare!
I barely had the time to pick my pistol,
the radio and Maggie and Helen’s
photo, that i always keep close to my
heart. Zombies started to attack me!
I run, i dodged and used my pistol to
survive! After this experience… well, i
decided to start this Journal, to keep
track of all that it’s happening to me!

I have a lot of new weapons now, so
just decided to keep track of them all.
I’m trying to organize’ em in categories,
making a drawing of each and every
one and also writing down their specs,
after making some realife field tests.

Knives
I saved my life, more times then i can
count, using a knife.
Zombies have a high resistance and
they simply don’t die that easy with a
single stroke of a knife on their body.
I found that the best way to kill’ em
with one stroke is using the knife on
soft spots of their head:
- On their eyes, ears or under the chin.
They moan and scream and they still
want to get to you, but that way they
almost die instantly, just a second or
two and they go to hell, where they
belong.

Grenades
Found a supplies crate with some
grenades inside.
Maybe now i can go through those
huge zombie hordes, blow them all up
and reach my destination.
Have to use the grenades wisely… just
hope to find some more on my way!
Now i know i need to find more
supplies crates if i want to have a
better chance of survival!

Ammo Explosive Ammo
It hits all nearby targets on impact.
Great for taking down big clusters of
z’s, a good alternative to grenades.
Available for:
Pistols, Shotguns, Assault Rifles,
Rifles and Bows. SMG’s
I’ve been finding some special types of
ammo during my runs.
Sometimes on the bags of soldiers and
SWAT, but, mostly on big military
crates.
Mainly i have found 3 different ammo
types:
Explosive, incendiary and piercing
ammo.
But… they’re not available for all the
different type of weapons.

Piercing Ammo
Sets target on fire for double damage.
I use’em a lot, just to see those z’s
burning on hell!
Available for:
Pistols, Shotguns, SMG’s, Assault
Rifles, Rifles and Bows.
Incendiary Ammo
Rips through multiple targets with
one bullet. Very effective against
armored zombies, like SWAT or EOD.
Available for:
Pistols, SMG’s, Assault Rifles, Rifles.

PISTOLS Like the Gladius, i feel that a Pistol also
excels in close quarters, and that’s
when i use it the most, when i’m gettin’
closer to any zombie!
Of course, i try to keep some distance
from the z’s, but upclose it’s usually the
pistol, the dodge, or the knife!
On my runs i found many different ones,
that i’ll try to put in the journal, on the
next pages.
The Romans used the Gladius, a short
sword that made a difference in close
combat.

On my runs, i’ve found many different
ones, and a varied assortment of ammo
types.
My favs are the incediary shells.
Maybe i’m going crazy, i’m sure i am, but
watching those z’s burnin’ strangely
gives me some peace of mind...
Will try my best to put all this different
shotguns, with detailed info, in the next
pages of the journal.
Shotguns have such a great spread
and power! They help me to bypass big
clusters of z’s with just a few shots.

SMG’s
How good are these Submachine
Guns? Well, I like to use’ em on
clusters of z’s - they will help to clear
your path, that’s for sure!
The main issue is that they have a
very high fire rate that will deplete
the mag really fast!
But, if you have spare magazines to
keep going, or do only small bursts of
fire, a good SMG can be really
fantastic!...
And i have quite a few different ones
that i’m adding to the journal.

Rifles
Rifles are the best when you don’t
want to get close and personal.
At a confortable distance i use them
to take down mostly the scattered z’s.
This weapons are powerfull, but i know
upclose they wont do it, they are a bit
slow to fire, so i must keep my
distance when using’em!
When i see groups of z’s, i also avoid
them and change to other weapon
that i’m able to use on those clusters.

firing armor piercing slugs that teared
through the undead at hypersonic

I have some mixed feelings about the
bows! They are silent and best when i
have some distance between me and
the z’s. Great power too.

arrows - most of the time - is also
probably one of the best thing about
my Bows.
But that’s it, i mean, upclose i never
use’ em, on the long distance i still
prefer the rifles and against the
hordes they are only good with
explosive arrows, an ammo not that
easy to find.
Spirit DDX Spectral ii
Silent and deadly. Fires bolts that
can be reused. But i don’t use it much.
A bow that is able to propel reusable
arrows fast and with great power.

I was heading my way on a very

Local civilians, law enforcement staff,
soldiers, hazmat technicians, SWAT
and EOD teams, DOC convicts,
workers - you name it:
- All turned onto mindless, flesh
eating things, yes - Zombies - as they
are no longer humans!
The ones i fear the most tend to be
big and fat - powerful guns are needed
for those.
But others, not so big, are fast and
attack you in a blink of an eye. Those
are very dangerous too!
SWAT and EOD are armoured and
very resilient: best thing is using
piercing or explosive ammo against
them bastards!
Dodging zombies when the opportunity
presents is something i don’t forget to
do. It makes me think of Aikido!

the year it was first released.

from the crashed truck.

  • 3. After the crash I was driving my truck, going to meet Helen and Maggie, when i hit something, very hard, that made me crash. What followed next was a true nightmare! I barely had the time to pick my pistol, the radio and Maggie and Helen’s photo, that i always keep close to my heart. Zombies started to attack me! I run, i dodged and used my pistol to survive!   • 4. long range transceiver This radio transceiver has been nothing short of a true technology marvel! I’ve been using it to talk with Helen and Maggie, and that helps a lot to keep me going on, to retain my sanity. Always hope to hear a transmission from someone else, but that’s still due to hapen ... There must be more survivors out there, but where in the hell are they? Weapons ● Items (Knives, Grenades, Ammo) ● Pistols ● Shotguns ● SMG’s ● Assault Rifles ● Rifles ● Bows ● Special ● Motorized I have a lot of new weapons now, so just decided to keep track of them all. I’m trying to organize’ em in categories, making a drawing of each and every one and also writing down their specs, after making some realife field tests. AppendixDIARYZombiescompanionsWeapons
  • 6. Knives I saved my life, more times then i can count, using a knife. Zombies have a high resistance and they simply don’t die that easy with a single stroke of a knife on their body. I found that the best way to kill’ em with one stroke is using the knife on soft spots of their head: - On their eyes, ears or under the chin. They moan and scream and they still want to get to you, but that way they almost die instantly, just a second or two and they go to hell, where they belong. AppendixDIARYZombiescompanionsWeapons
  • 7. Grenades Found a supplies crate with some grenades inside. Maybe now i can go through those huge zombie hordes, blow them all up and reach my destination. Have to use the grenades wisely… just hope to find some more on my way! Now i know i need to find more supplies crates if i want to have a better chance of survival!   • 8. Ammo Explosive Ammo It hits all nearby targets on impact. Great for taking down big clusters of z’s, a good alternative to grenades. Available for: Pistols, Shotguns, Assault Rifles, Rifles and Bows. SMG’s I’ve been finding some special types of ammo during my runs. Sometimes on the bags of soldiers and SWAT, but, mostly on big military crates. Mainly i have found 3 different ammo types: Explosive, incendiary and piercing ammo.   • 9. Piercing Ammo Sets target on fire for double damage. I use’em a lot, just to see those z’s burning on hell! Available for: Pistols, Shotguns, SMG’s, Assault Rifles, Rifles and Bows.   • 10. PISTOLS Like the Gladius, i feel that a Pistol also excels in close quarters, and that’s when i use it the most, when i’m gettin’ closer to any zombie! Of course, i try to keep some distance from the z’s, but upclose it’s usually the pistol, the dodge, or the knife! On my runs i found many different ones, that i’ll try to put in the journal, on the next pages. The Romans used the Gladius, a short sword that made a difference in close combat. Maybe i’m going crazy, i’m sure i am, but watching those z’s burnin’ strangely gives me some peace of mind...
