James Christacos is a 45-year-old UEFA B Certified football coach from the USA with over 15 years of coaching experience in youth, women's, and men's football. He has coached at several clubs in Greece, including Football Academy of Sparta, PAO Agiou Nikolaou, and Leonidas Sparta, where he has won numerous youth and senior championships. Christacos focuses on developing talent, improving weaknesses, and instilling a strong team spirit and work ethic in his players. My name is James Christacos, I am 45 years old and I was born in USA.
I am a UEFA B Certified football coach. As a football player, I have played for
teams Leonidas Spartis, AE Sparta, as well as various football academies of
national youth teams.

SUMMARY I am a very hard worker and I have an impeccable work ethic. I have never
missed a workout. I organize and prepare the training exercises in detail and
afterwards I evaluate and analyze the results of each training session. In
addition to studying and analyzing the results and statistics of each match, I
focus my attention on the behaviour and attitude of the players on and off the
field. I am very throrough, methodical, and patient in my assessment of each
player, I praise their strong points and I focus on improving upon their
weaknesses. I have established excellent relationships with the young
footballers' parents. I like to create teams that are hungry to succeed but are
also patient along the process. My greatest asset is my ability to improve the
quality and talent of footballers. In the clubs that I have worked for, I have won
trophies, along with improving the value of the players. I have won several titles
and championships as a coach and I can pass the spirit to the team.
SKILLS ACADEMIES
I have been coaching football academies since 2005. I have an interest in
every child and his / her diversity. I teach kids how to have fun playing football.
I focus on the weaknesses of each child so as to improve overall. I am very
concerned about the mental health of child players. I teach children how to
behave properly after victory and defeat. All these years I deal with young
children I have won titles and championships but mainly I have raised proper
and ethical athletes. My players always respect me and I have excellent
communication with their parents.
COMPETITIVE TEAMS
My football position was of a goalkeeper and I know the amount of hard work
you need to become the best. My groups are based on team spirit and hard
work. I improve the talent I find in my team, improve athete’s weaknesses and I
find their role in the team. I give opportunities to new footballers, who will
strengthen the club. I give great importance to the teams' academies and I
observe the training. I have excellent collaboration with the administration and
associates of the club. I have won several titles and championships as a coach
and I can pass the spirit to the team.

2. COACHING EXPERIENCE
In 2006 I founded the first football academy for children in
Laconia, “Football Academy of Sparta”.
The club won the first academy championship. In the coming
seasons the young footballers played in the men's club with
success. With the club “Football Academy of Sparta” I won two
youth championships as well as a men's championship.
In 2009 I was the coach and general manager of club “PAO
Agiou Nikolaou”. We finished in second place and we won the
promotion to a higher division.
In 2011 Laconia's largest club, “Leonidas Sparta”, decided to set
up football academies and hired me to work as a coach and
general manager. The results were two championships in the first
season. (U14, U12).
In the summer of the same year I worked at the Athitaki summer
camp in Athens for children under 12 years of age. There, we
won the camp championship.
The following season I won the U10 Championship with Leonidas
Sparta. I also worked in the group of pre-selection of national
teams in the ages U14 and U12.
During the 2014-2015 season, I won the Youth Championship
with Leonidas Sparta club. That same season I created a new
women's football team, “Karyatides of Sparta”. In the first year
of the club we finished third in the national championship of
Division 3.
During the 2016-2017 season, I won the youth championship with
Leonidas Sparta club as well as the women's championship of
National Division 3 with Karyatides.
From 2009 to 2017 I did football training for boys and girls from 4
to 14 years of age.
With my teams I participate every year in tournaments with a
high level.
In addition to champion awards I have won 3 times best coach
prize and fairplay plaque 4 times.

BEYOND FOOTBALL COACH…
I am an analyst - computer programmer, a graduate of the Greek computer science school. I
teach the course of algorithms and programs to high school students, as well as office programs
(Cambridge, ECDL) to adult learners. I know to use Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Pinnacle Video
Studio, Photoshop, Wordpress etc
I served my military service in Greece as an officer. My competencies were in training recruits. I was
discharged with the rank of lieutenant, with excellent recommendations.
