- 9. 9 As required by the Department of State for every J1 Exchange visitor, the Risks covered with the Insurance are: ü Medical expenses resul<ng from an accident or illness; ü Prescribed medica<on for condi<ons diagnosed while in the U.S. only; ü Transporta?on to a medical facility that can provide appropriate care in the event of serious injury or sickness that cannot be adequately dealt with at the loca<on where the illness or accident took place; ü LAB’s, MRIs, CT Scans, and X-rays only if pre-authoriza<on is granted. We create together with the Host Company the full VISA documenta?on (DS-2019/7002, Training Plan, etc.) that will be required for your Embassy appointment 4. We will help you prepare the US Embassy interview. 5. Once the visa is granted we provide you with reloca?on assistance and pre-departure orienta?on before you leave to the United States, 6.
