Our company is a specialist supplier of wood and glass coatings to the southern African furniture
manufacturingindustry,shopfitters,andmanufacturers of kitchenandbathroomfurniture and fittings.
Janie joined us at the inception of the business in March 2012 as the financial administrator. Not long
thereafter, we acquired our computerised colour matching system and spectrophotometer. Janie
showed a keen interest in learning about this system and demonstrated her flair for colour and the
system in general.
During this early phase of the business Janie showed she had the ability to manage various situations
and she took on the responsibility of office and production manager. Her responsibilities included,
productionplanningand manufacturing, office administration, colour matching, product deliveries and
customer liaison.
Janie compiledourimportrequirements and liaised with our Italian suppliers, forwarding and clearing
agents on a regular basis.
The company grewinstrengthas didJanie andshe effectively contributed to this growth. Janie left the
employ of WoodGlass Coatings in December 2015 when her family emigrated to Europe.
I wish her all the very best in her new life abroad. She will be an asset to her future employer.
