Full itinerary
Day 1/05 April: Hanoi Arrival (…)
Welcomed at Noi Bai International airport by our driver and transferred to your hotel Relax after
a long flight journey.
Sleep at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2/06 April: Hanoi – city tour – Sapa (B/L)
8h00-8h30: You are picked at the hotel for a guided full day tour of Hanoi, visiting the major
sights, including the Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda and paying a homage to Vietnam's
most famous revolutionary, Ho Chi Minh. After lunch, we visit Ethnology Museum, the miniature
of Vietnam with 54 ethnic groups. Here carry out scientific research, collection, documentation,
conservation, exhibition and preserving the cultural and historic patrimony of the nation’s ethnic
groups. The museum also serves to guide research, conservation, and technology that are
specific to the work of an ethnographic museum. Back to the old quater where we keep walking
to visit bustling streets.

Overnight on train to Lao Cai
Day 3/07 April: Lao Cai – Cat Cat – Sin Chai villages trekking (B/L/D)
Arrive Lao Cai Train Station around 5:00. Then take an one hour bus ride uphill to the beautiful
town of Sapa. The ride gives you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces
that make Sapa famous with travelers. Have breakfast and freshen up upon arrival to Sapa
town. Then take a morning walking tour of Sa Pa to visit a busy market where Red Dao, Black
H’mong and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell
their embroidery, silverware and handicrafts, and to buy provisions. It is whe re you will find
fabric stained from dyed shade of blue, red and green intricately embroidered and stitched ... or
the rainbow colors of the Flower H’mong, flashes of the shining silver jewellery from the necks
and wrists of indigo-clad H’mong and the scarlet hues of the turbans worn by the Red Dao. In
the afternoon, take a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 3 km) to visit Cat Cat
Village of the Black H’mong, one of the more well-known ethnic village of Sapa. Relax at the
foot of the stunning Silver Waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was
constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam.

3. Day 4/08 April: Sapa – Lao Chai – Tan Van villages Trekking – Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Then trek through the green Sa Pa Valley to visit
the Black H'mong minority of Lao Chai Village and Giay minority of Ta Van then back to Sapa.
On the way, visitors can admire the sight of a range of huge mountain looms dimply in the veil
of smog on one side and rice terraces on the other side. Back to Sapa then bus transfer to
Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at mid night about 20h30. Check in the hotel in Hanoi

Day 5/09 April: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)
07h50-8h20: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong City through the paddy fields in
the Red River Delta.
10h00: Stopover on the way for a refreshment break
12h00: Arrive at Tuan Chau wharf – Break and photography time
12h30: Board Indochina Sail Cruise for departure. Welcome drink will be served
13h00: Lunch is served while cruising through the bay
15h30: Visit exciting Cua Van fishing village. The village is free of busy roads and streets,
electric lights, houses and high rise buildings. Instead, there are only herds of little boats and
rafts. You will have the chance to discover the traditional culture and customs of the fishermen.
16h30: Enjoy kayaking or swimming (if the weather permits).
17h00: Back on board and continue cruising to Drum Cave (Hang Trong) to dock.
19h00: Dinner is served.
21h00: Take some leisure time to enjoy chatting at the bar or enjoy some night fishing.
Overnight on board.
Day 6/10 April: Halong – Hanoi (B/L)
07.00: Coffee and tea will be served
08.00: Continue cruising
08h15: Visit splendid Sung Sot Cave
09h00: Check out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay, passing Dinh Huong Island, fishing
villages, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island and Sail Island.
09.30: Buffet brunch (breakfast/lunch) while cruising back through Halong Bay to the pier
11h30: Arrive at the pier. Time to say goodbye to the crew.
12.00: Return from Halong to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at about 5pm. Free for personal activities.

Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for departure. Tour ends. Please advise your flight
