This document outlines the Spanish education system. It shows that compulsory education includes primary education from ages 6 to 12 and secondary education (ESO) from ages 12 to 16. After completing the ESO, students can pursue vocational training certificates, take the Selectividad exam for university entrance, or enroll in middle-level or higher-level vocational training cycles to obtain technical degrees. The highest levels are university studies leading to bachelor's or graduate degrees.
