Where are you from?
I’m from the great state of Texas.
What do you like about the Navy?
I like the opportunity I have to see the world; exposure to different cul-
tures; and its diversity.
What are your hobbies on your liberty time?
I like to do hair in my spare time.
How long have you been in the Navy?
I have been in for almost 2 years now.
What’s your favorite food?
My favorite food to is crab legs.
What have you gained from being in the Navy?
I have gained a great amount of knowledge in the Information Systems
Technician field as well as Information Assurance. I have also gained
respect and time management. I have also gained the opportunity to live in
another country.
What do you want to get out of the Navy now?
I want to get the chance to say I have served my country and did a great
job in doing so.
What do you like about your job in the Navy?
I like the fact that my job is mission essential and it gives that extra push to
get things done pronto. As well as the opportunities it provides me for the
transfer to the civilian world.
Where have you been so far in the Navy?
Being that I’m still on my first tour, I was able to go to boot camp in Great
Lakes, “A” School in Pensacola, FL, and stationed here in Misawa, Japan.
What is your dream deployment?
My dream deployment is Europe!
How long do you plan to stay in for?
I plan on doing about 20 years between active and reserve. After my 5 year
contract is up, I want to re-enlist under the Full-time Support Reserve to
see what it is like.
What’s your favorite sports team?
The New Orlean Saint
If you had the choice what would be your last meal?
My last meal would be a bucket full of crab legs, crawfish, sausage, and corn on the cob, with a Japanese coke.

What’s the most memorable moment of your career so far?
My most memorable moment would have to be when reality set in as I got on the plane to move to Japan. I realized I was no longer a child and
was now a Sailor.
