2. What is IT?
• IT is an Interactive Treasure Hunt, role playing
game, designed to encourage university
students to work together, as well as socialize
at the start of the year.
• It takes place at a variety of locations, around
the UWE campuses and part of Bristol.

5. The Narrative
• During a introductory speech to first years, it is discovered that a 3 rd year student is
missing.
• During a PowerPoint presentation, the video comes on about the missing 3 rd year
who directs the students to the wrist ban.
• The QR codes on the wrist bans are the first clue to finding out where he/she has
gone.
• QR code will take students to a website where they will be assigned the task of
forming a group of 5-7 people to solve the mystery. NB: keep up to date with
twitter feeds.
• The group will be also be told where to find the first clue (CCTV footage of
he/she’s last whereabouts). Campus Security – played by an actor, has the footage
but they group must divide and coax/bribe/trick him out of giving up the footage.
They also find a file of potential suspects who they must locate and question.
• CCTV shows her with a person, team goes to house, but girl is not there, so they
keep her twitter feed and have to rush to a location before she leaves.
• Girl gives team another clue – a voicemail message of missing girl
• TEAM BUILDING TASK –TBC, on completion they receive another clue.
6. Production Time -scale
• 6th Nov – 13th Nov – All pre production needs to be
done. Meeting on 13th to discuss who’s doing
what in terms of production.
• 13th Nov – 27th Nov – The tasks we would have
agreed on in the meeting needs to be done in
these two weeks, be sure to keep everyone
updated via the fb page.
• 27th Nov – 11th Dec (deadline) – we put all the
piece of our productions together and tweek
anything if need be, to be presented on 11th Dec.
