What is IT?
IT is an interactive role playing treasure hunt game, where in,

Participants explore a variety of locations, around the UWE

The Narrative

During a introductory speech to first years, it is discovered that a 3 rd
year student is missing. A PowerPoint presentation is hacked by a
video transmitted by the girl from an unknown location. At the end of
the clip, a QR code appears on screen, which the students must
scan, with their smart phones.

QR code will take students to a website where they will be assigned
the task of forming a group of 5-7 people to solve the mystery. The
group will be told where to find the first clue (CCTV footage of
he/she’s last whereabouts).
The Narrative

Campus Security – played by an actor, has the footage but they
group must divide and coax/bribe/trick him out of giving up the
footage. They will also find a file of potential suspects who they
must locate and question to find the next clues.

The file included personal information on the missing girl and
potential suspects – with a hidden clue the twitter page. There is
a few twists throughout their hunt, for example –
The Narrative
CCTV footage shows the missing girl with a person. This person’s
home address is in the file the team finds in the Security office.
Presumably the team goes to house, but suspect is not there.
The team must realise that they keep up with the suspect’s
twitter feed in order to locate them before they leave that
location.

The suspect gives the team, another clue – a voicemail
message from missing girl, this then sends the team to another
location where they will perform a team building exercise in
order to receive their next clue.

When the team finds all the clues, they will solve the mystery
and find the missing girl.
