The Galilee Society celebrated its 20th anniversary with a health conference on the Palestinian minority in Israel. Over 350 medical professionals attended the conference, where 80 speakers presented research on key health issues affecting Palestinians such as public health, child health, and environmental health. Conference findings highlighted the neglect and health inequities suffered by the Palestinian community in Israel. Going forward, the Society aims to establish a steering committee to address these health issues and systematically improve Palestinian health in Israel through advocacy and initiatives.
